Cookie notice · Pineapple Survey uses essential session and interface cookies only. It does not use advertising or third-party marketing trackers.
1. Essential sign-in cookies
The pineapple_session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days, whether you arrived by email link or through Google. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax. Signing in with Google briefly sets one short-lived cookie that ties the response from Google back to your browser; it is deleted as soon as the sign-in completes.
2. Interface preferences
The sidebar_state cookie remembers whether the navigation is expanded, for up to seven days. This is an interface preference and contains no points or financial data.
3. Optional services
If enabled, the security challenge uses Cloudflare Turnstile. A live survey opened on a partner’s site may use that provider’s own cookies and consent controls. Read the partner notice before taking the survey.
4. Your control
You can remove cookies in your browser. Removing session cookies signs you out. No advertising consent banner is shown because advertising trackers are not installed; a public rollout must add consent controls before adding nonessential trackers.
